![]() ![]() ![]() I only gave it to level 5, I haven't even gotten to the main questline yet, and I am likely going to hang it up, and play the regular edition. But honestly I had to experience it for myself. I guess I should have taken everyone's word for it. The game legitimately feels like I'm playing outer worlds underwater. holy shit it's so choppy even though I'm on a platform it was supposedly designed for. Like "Bethesda Bugged" level of teeth not matching the movement of the mouth while the NPC is talking, weird "outlines" around their faces while moving/glancing, etc. While I don't mind them adding more "age" and texture to the character faces (except Vicar Max who now looks like he has a biweekly botox intervention), the speech animation for the characters is a massive downgrade. And EVERYTHING IS SO ORANGE! Standing still and watching shadows and shades just shift despite any movement. Like seriously, so oversaturated and orange! The contrast is so high I can't see shit in the shadows and the shading is all over the map, watching a storage box shadow move while I was standing still made me think they added new monsters to the tutorial, but no, it was just a random shadow moving 3 meters as if I had moved my player character 5 steps to the left, when I didn't. The app never showed up for install from accessing the store on the Xbox, despite following everyone's directions in the reviews (go to the Spacers Choice edition landing page in the Xbox store and install from there) and I was only able to push the install when I relinked my xbox app on my phone and pushed it to my console from there. So I plopped down enough dosh to buy a value meal, on upgrading my Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle. and I was willing to pay $8 or so to get that. I just wanted the level cap increase because I was sick of getting through Murder on Eridanos and already hitting the level cap before even going to Gorgon. I made so many of the "What did you expect? It's called 'Spacers Choice', it's supposed to be a trash fire" jokes.
